Waiting to share more with our friends in Tijuana.
We believe that KIRF has not done enough in Mexico considering the amount of need and relative proximity to us here in California. Our last trip to Mexico was cancelled due to the escalation gang violence in Tijuana (a town on the US-Mexico border just south of San Diego in Baja California) and the surrounding region where we have local contacts and relief experience. Our friends with families living in the Baja region of Mexico have warned us to wait until the situation becomes safer.
