In addition to tax-deductible donations, the Kirwin International Relief Foundation accepts other gifts. Here are some other ways you can donate:
In-kind Gifts
In-kind gifts include new or nearly-new clothing or laptop computers, water sanitation equipment, building tools, eduational materials, age- and culturally- appropriate games, toys and sports equipment (soccer balls are a favorite) and other materials that may be safely and economically transported on an international flight. Please contact us for particular disaster relief or educational support needs.
Gifts of Financial Assets
Financial assets can include cash, stock, mutual funds or life insurance policies.
Including KIRF in a trust
You can name the Kirwin International Relief Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, as a beneficiary of a trust:
- A donation may have positive tax implications by minimizing taxes as there is a tax deduction for charitable giving
- Your gift or bequest can be named in honor or memory of a family, business, loved one or friend
